Peas make you strong

a branded content campaign using humor

People interested in fitness usually turn to protein shakes and meat to build muscle – but hopefully not much longer! In our fictional campaign for the German meat substitute company “Endori” we targeted the fitness crowd where and how it fits best: in the gym and with silly humour.

Under the campaign name “gibdir” (colloquial for “give it a shot”) we planned and designed a poster campaign, a strength-based game booth to be set up in gyms accompanied by funny social media content.

I worked with my fellow student André to create this campaign over the course of a semester. My contribution was to design the pixel art game, the poster series and the campaign logo. The photos used in the posters were also taken and edited by me.

bold + funny + silly

Using bench press and squad motions to steer the character’s movements makes the #gibdirchallenge truly … well, challenging. Especially as the weights pushed get heavier with each level and the items appear much faster.
